Location the village of Kovashevitsa is situated about 1050m above sea level. It’s a unique place of Bulgaria. The village is situated in west- south part of Rhodopes Mountain. The houses are well decorated stone fenced with pretty yards and the streets are coble stoned. At the Renaissance Kovachevitsa is cultural center. Landmarks in 1900 was built one and only the Bell tower and next to it first primary school in 1854 in the house of the teacher Nikola Kovachevski. In last but one century there is a great migration.
